This is basically a contemporary interpretation of the Fabergé eggs. The miniaturized model allows users to easily display it on a necklace or securely fasten it to a keyring. Intended as a compact container, it can store coins or, when enlarged, safely hold other objects such as car keys. The intricate design allows users to assemble and disassemble the egg by twisting it in one direction for closing and the opposite direction for opening. To guarantee waterproof sealing, an O-ring printed from flexible PLA is strategically placed in the middle of the structure. The lower and upper shell components can be screwed together seamlessly using this intuitive mechanism. The egg itself is designed to keep coins dry by utilizing an O-ring as a sealant that is water-resistant thanks to its unique flexible design printed using high-quality, waterproof PLA. Printing Specifications The shell casing is made from durable ABS, while the water-repellent O-ring is manufactured from high-quality, pliable PLA. With a recommended printing time of around 4 hours, users can produce a perfectly crafted miniature Fabergé egg with impressive details and precision. Users are advised to choose 1.5mm for optimal results and achieve the best print resolution possible at 30% density fill level. Customization Options In order to utilize this model as a coin purse with maximum storage capacity using standard euro coins, we recommend scaling up to an authentic one-to-one size. However, for storing Swiss Francs in it's current scale you may want to adjust your scaling slightly, around a 1.3 or 1.4 size range would work quite nicely and maintain precision. A highly practical alternative can be obtained by increasing its dimensions, which then enables secure housing of larger objects like automotive keys to be protected against exposure from the outside elements such as rain water when using a protective sealing solution.
