Egg to Test for Egg Drop
pinshape
We needed an egg-shaped object that could withstand being dropped, so we modified the base to make it stand upright on its own. To ensure consistent results, we also added a feature to replicate each drop. Printing with a 90% infill took me nearly five hours, but the end result was well worth it - my test egg survived three-story drops with minimal damage to the eggs inside. Each time, this configuration used about 61 cubic centimeters of filament.
