Egg Stool
thingiverse
The "Egg" sculpture, featuring both interior design and culbuto seat, challenges sitting conventions while exploring the relationship between one's body and equilibrium. Its round base allows for easy 360-degree rotation. This unique creation can be procured as a kit or manufactured in a digital lab through LabFab. It consists of 24 Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) panels, 3mm thick, that snap together without the need for screws or adhesive, making assembly simple and enjoyable. The design files, obtained from a 3D software program and digitally cut, are downloadable, replicable, and adaptable across the global network of fablabs.
