Egg Spinner

Egg Spinner

thingiverse

A fourth-grade science teacher here, dabbling in 3D printing and design - not a pro, but I get thrilled when what I envision actually becomes a reality. This is a fantastic little spinner perfect for the Easter season, or use it as a fidget toy with play cooking. The eggs shown in the pictures are shrunk down to 75% and 50%. The full-size egg was too sloppy feeling, about the size of a real egg. The 50% model felt a bit small but still worked great. We didn't use a brim or raft after the first prints, as it seemed like they were preventing the egg from breaking free and spinning smoothly. To get this egg to spin, you'll need to give it a little tap on the ends - just like cracking an egg, wink!
