The wire is a 0.28mm guitar string utilized for its precision. A push fit 3.6mm carbon rod forms the hinge, with the base drilled to 3.5mm and the top to 4.0mm for optimal clearance. The wires' ends are securely fastened in place by an M3 screw and nut that is recessed into the base, ensuring a snug fit. To facilitate wire passage, the STL model has been modified with slightly larger holes and wider slots in the base, simplifying the assembly process.
