In southern Spain's southeast region, archaeologists unearthed an egg-shaped pot classified as type 4 within the Siret brothers' El Argar culture typology. Typically found alongside beakers of type 8 in funerary settings, these handcrafted vessels possess a distinctive dark, polished surface with metallic sheen. This ceramic style is characteristic of the Argaric culture, which flourished from 2300 BC to 1600 BC. Inv n.: PG.2000.1456 You can view this artifact on the museum's online catalog Carmentis.
