Egg Roll Basket for PETG
thingiverse
This is a quick remix of Cisco\_'s awesome egg holder, for printing with PETG. Cisco_ calls out PLA specifically as the material of choice; folks have had mixed success with that design in PETG. That's because: (a) PETG is more flexible than PLA, so wall edges with radical extension are more sensitive to getting bungied up with PETG than PLA; and (b) PETG has a "softer" melting profile than PLA, so extended bridge features like the top handle don't harden as fast with PETG, and therefore have less chance of working. This version has slightly thicker walls in the spiral portion, increasing rigidity and reducing the chance of goobering up a PETG print, to deal with (a). You can also use extra cooling (see print settings notes) to deal with (b). (Original is here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4790582)
