Egg Piercer
grabcad
An antique egg piercer design utilizes a needle to puncture an egg's blunt end before boiling, preventing shell cracking. Recently discovered in my kitchen drawer, I wonder if it's still relevant. Made of simple plastic, the item appears 3D-printable. The compression spring measures 15.5mm. For visualization, I used PTC Creo View Lite, a free software supporting various CAD formats and easy to use with drag-and-drop functionality. Available data formats include STEP (.stp), STL (.stl) for plastic parts, and native files (.asm, .prt) in PTC Creo Parametric 2.0.
