<p><strong>Egg Lathe – UPDATE</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Alternative parts for the original Egg Lathe which you can find at httpswww.prusaprinters.orgprints152681-egg-lathe</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>These parts directly replace the gears on the original and utilize a (approximately) 40 mm rubber band.&nbsp;This gives the lathe a smoother rotation.</p><p>The band runs around the outside of the larger wheels and over the top of the smaller central wheel (see pics).</p><p>Admittedly the rubber band is tricky to fit (it has to go around the new wheels after the main lathe has been assembled but, as the pics show, with patience and the assistance of pointy tweezers, can be done.&nbsp; To make it easier a larger band can be used as long as it provides enough grip.</p><p>Layer height:&nbsp; 0.2 mm<br>Infill:&nbsp; 10%<br>Supports:&nbsp; None<br>Rim:&nbsp; None<br><br>&nbsp;</p>
