Egg holder for low-energy cooking
thingiverse
A Holder to Cook Eggs with Ease. Instructions: Fill a cooking pot with water until it reaches about one centimeter above the edges of the egg trays. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat so that it continues to simmer gently. Place the egg(s) in the holder and cover the pot with its lid. Set your timer according to your desired level of doneness: 4-5 minutes for soft-boiled eggs, 6 minutes for slightly firmer yolks, or 8 minutes for fully hard-boiled eggs. Be sure to add a minute if you're cooking eggs straight from the refrigerator. Immediately transfer the egg(s) to a container filled with cold water. Never place the holder in a hot pot without water present, as it may warp or become damaged.
