In this failed attempt at dropping an egg, I shared my experience. The "watch spring" method appears promising due to its ability to provide motion and damping in all directions. To succeed, finding the right stiffness for a soft landing without breaking the egg is crucial. Interestingly, PLA used for printing the fixture has more flexibility than anticipated in specific configurations. Here's another video: https://vimeo.com/177226942
