Egg bot
thingiverse
I made a Classic sphere bot to save assembly time after printing and simplify adjustments for larger or smaller objects. It employs 8mm skate bearings and an 8mm rod for the spring assembly, ensuring smooth operation. I added silicon sponge to the gripping surface on the eggs for better traction. The controller board was sourced from the evil mad scientist website, while the stepper motors came from eBay's Stepper Online in Nema 17 configurations. Bike seat post clamps work perfectly as slide lockers. This project isn't entirely finished yet, but it functions flawlessly like it is! I'll be uploading CAD files for anyone who wants to modify parts for printing or needs adjustments. My goal is to share this fun project with everyone and encourage modifications and improvements.
