Egg Base Stand

I Acquired numerous Gemstone Eggs and required a base to complement them. I was particularly drawn to pmoews' Pinecone Finial scan and combined it with the base. The eggs in my possession measure 2.66 inches (67.65mm) x 2 inches (50.63mm). The base/stand, on the other hand, measures 1.10 inches (28mm) x 1.57 inches (40mm). I coated them in Testors Aztek Silver and Gold airbrush paint and utilized some red felt from Walmart that I had on hand. Only the bottom received a layer of felt; the top is snug enough to securely hold the eggs, especially after painting. My family is quite fond of the finished product.
