In 2040, I envision cars with innovative features such as compact sizes to accommodate short distance travel and fewer occupants, conserving energy. They will be powered by magnetic field traction and suspension, controlled electronically via nuclear reactions. Steering wheels will be obsolete as cars will drive autonomously; a joystick will allow manual control. Cameras replace mirrors for improved aerodynamics, with monitors inside for passengers' viewing pleasure. Rear and front lamps serve as indicators to advise drivers of other manually driven vehicles. Non-pneumatic tires, made possible by advancements in rubber and plastic technology, will be utilized along with foam seats replacing structural hardware. All car information and passenger desired details will be accessible via a single touch screen display.
