eFlite Maule M-7 replacement tailwheel mount
thingiverse
One of my favorite planes to fly is the eFlite Maule M-7. Tundra tires or floats... fly sport or casual scale flying... it has the power and agility to do it all. Parts are becoming increasingly more difficult to find, however. Recently, my tail wheel caught on a snag in the cortex and snapped right where the sleeve joins the fuselage. After much searching, there was no replacement part available out there. The only option was to buy a whole new fuse... pointless for such a small break and I didnt want to trust it to glue. This replacement should be printed on a resin printer. I did a fast prototype on an FDMA and it worked but it just wasnt very strong. I printed mine using an Anycubic Photon Mono 4k, Anycubic UV tough clear resin. This stuff is UV tolerant after curing and flexes before it breaks.
