EFIS Boeing 737 - the easy way
thingiverse
When i came to the EFIS part of my Boeing 737 cockpit simulator, I found most designs difficult to use. They either required difficult sourcing of components or had a complex design. So I came up with this design, which uses simple components. To accomplice this I changed the design of MINS and BARO, and converted them into two switches instead of a dual switch. The front is a print by itself, so main case and lid can be printed in 0.6, and front in 0.25, for faster production - if desired! I use SimulConn boards for X-Plane/SimVim, but any electronics can be used. http://flightsimulatorcockpit.dk/simulconn/input-hardware-for-x-plane/ The components needed: - 9x push button - 1x rotary switch 4-way - 1x rotary switch 8-way - 2x encoder switch - 2x rocker switch single - 2x rocker switch dual - 8x M3 spacers - 8x M3 screws - a few meters of wire
