Very effective and good replacement for the horizontal drag chain to the print head. Here a hollow pipe DN20 (about 80cm) was used. By utilizing inexpensive hollow pipe, a cost-effective implementation is possible. Additionally, the hollow tube effectively prevents cables in the drag chain from being bent at the same spot. Only two ball bearings are required and you must create the receptacle on your sled yourself, because there are probably more sled variants than sold printers. In this new version, the attachment of the hollow tube has been significantly improved. The receptacle was slotted, allowing it to be slightly bent apart and the hollow tube inserted. When this happens, a clamp ring is slid over the conical holder and holds the tube securely where it belongs. Maybe this template will only serve as an idea generator. I highly recommend it, it works superbly. Have fun with the replica.
