EEZYbotArm MK3

This is a revolutionary 3D printed robotic Arm. It builds on the success of my previous two designs: EEZYbotARM and EEZYbotARM Mk2. It shares the same dimensions as the first one, making it incredibly cheap and fast to print. The main base requires a little more time to be printed. This version was created with the goal of replacing servo motors with economic stepper motors, and this is the result. During development I found the stepper motor to be a little weak for its purpose, so I redesigned the transmissions on vertical arms, and applied a modification from unipolar to bipolar stepper. As the previous two arms it has been designed without a specific purpose in mind, the aim is educational, providing suitable hardware that allows users to concentrate on exploring all its potential applications. The making video can be seen at EEZYbotARM mk3 - The making.
