Eevee & Pokemon Ball / 寶可夢球
thingiverse
This work is an adorable Eevee. The original design had two versions, one was a single piece and the other was detachable. The detachable head could move freely. Here I decided to use the single-piece version for printing and created a baby ball to go along with it. I chose the single-piece version because I thought it would be more convenient to print all at once. Any defects that might arise from printing could be slightly hidden by post-processing. As long as the ratio of the print wasn't too small, the printing process wouldn't be too complicated. It's recommended to start with the first layer open because Eevee's feet are very small and may not hold up well. Polishing was a breeze, it only required access to the tool's placement area. The most challenging part of post-processing was coloring, especially getting the face just right. The pen had to be extremely steady in hand, with almost no room for error. Despite not being perfect, the end result was still visible and looked great. Eevee is truly lovable, so go ahead and find a baby ball to capture it! While you're at it, search for some evolutionary stones to evolve Eevee into different attributes.
