Omron EE-SX670 mounts directly to the 2020 X axis for Ender 5. This endstop is incredibly precise, reliable, and lightweight due to its optical design. I previously designed a "XY Inductive sensor mount, Ender 5" (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3847579) but opted not to use it on the X axis because of its weight. This optical endstop weighs similarly to standard mechanical endstops. The mounting system consists of three parts: base mounts, 2020 guide inserts that prevent rotation, and fixators holding both the mount and wires in place. Required fasteners include two M3 x 10 screws and one M3 x 15 screw with a T-nut. Total weight is 8 grams including all necessary hardware.
