EE - Exhaust Especial for Anycubic Photon
thingiverse
Here's my version of an exhaust system to get rid of resin fumes if you want to run your printer in a shop, office or living room. To talk about integrated ventilation with the so-called "activated carbon" filter isn't worth the letters. Also, that tiny piece of black foam is sooner or later clogged and can't be removed easily. Besides, this system lets pass most of the fumes outside, but also lets them flow first over electronic parts inside. This can't be good for long-term use and is sure to harm components, causing them to die earlier. There are some other great mods for this task around here, especially those where you replace the top glass of the lid with a duct and fan. The disadvantage is that it will need a lot of room to flip the cover and limits movement. So I decided to guide fumes out directly from the source and lead them through a common 50mm plastic socket-pipe that can be bought at any department store. Due to the limited pressure of the integrated 50mm fan, the length of the pipe could not get endless through some rooms. Two to three meters works fine in my case. Disadvantages: You have to sacrifice one handle and access to the main switch and USB plug is limited. Maybe plug in a USB extender.
