"Mechanical flowers" is a small automaton to understand the principles of a crankshaft mechanism. The structure is wide open in the back to see the mechanism in action. The crankshaft is made to be easily printable. No supports. Flexible connecting rods, inspired by compliant mechanism, transmit the movement from the crankshaft to the flower stems. All this in a cute colorful display. Everything is really easy to print. Only the flower pot needs supports (the two parts of the flower pot) You will need four (4x) screws: m3x10mm screws. And a bit of glue. YOU NEED TO PRINT two small stems (stem 001)! The long one (stem 002) is the one in the middle. ;) Sorry forgot that in the instructions. As usual with my models, everything is already placed in the right orientation.
