Educational Model of A Bacteriophage
thingiverse
This interactive 3D model vividly illustrates the step-by-step process of how a virus invades and replicates within cells or bacteria (viral lifecycle). I developed this approximately twelve months ago during my microbiology module in science class, but only now have had time to fine-tune it. The entire lifecycle stages - Attachment, Insertion, Production, Assemblage, and Lysis - are meticulously portrayed throughout the model. Huge thanks go to Justin Olive for serving as my excellent science teacher. Guidelines: 1. Print all elements at 10% infill, using a standard layer height, without any supports or raft.
