The upper portion of a cervical vertebra from an Edmontosaurus is displayed here. The specimen has been mirrored to restore some of the missing sections. This fossil was unearthed in the Lance Creek Formation, located in Wyoming, USA. It dates back to the Maastrichtian age within the Late Cretaceous period. The total width of this vertebra measures 15.2 centimeters.
