Edited Sunglasses Visor Clip
thingiverse
I wasn't looking to make any drastic changes from droton's original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2545456), but adding a ridge to it made all the difference for my Oakley Gascan sunglasses and regular glasses, allowing them to securely clip into place. While driving home from work in the thick fog that often follows a day of teaching middle school, I had a close call when my Oakley Gascan sunglasses suddenly landed on my head as I approached a stoplight. The original clip was doing an incredible job, but I suspected it might not be compatible with my thicker sunglasses arms or thinner regular glasses arms. Once I arrived home, I used Microsoft 3D Builder to merge a small cylinder with the section that holds the glasses in place. Although my sunglasses still tend to shake loose and move around a bit, the ridge now prevents them from falling off entirely. This modification also allows me to use the visor without worrying about the glasses slipping down.
