Editable Smart Compact Temperature Calibration Tower
thingiverse
This is a REMIX of gaZolee's Smart Compact Temperature Calibration Tower (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2729076) Key enhancements/features available via the Fusion360 model include: 1. **Ability to easily EDIT the embossed temperature markings** on the model by simply changing model parameters in Fusion360 Specifically, you can set the end temperature (first floor) and how much the temperature changes per floor. Or if you wish, you can individually set the temperature for each floor using the corresponding parameters. This allows you to change the markings on the model with almost no effort 2. **Configurable parameter for EMBOSSING custom filament parameters** on the top-side of the base (e.g., brand, type, and color of filament) To edit, change the *Comments* section for the null parameters "FrontText" and "BackText" in the Fusion360 parameter list. (Note the parameter value is not used) 3. **Configurable, simplified Base size** - You can specify height as well as length and width parameters in the Fusion360 model, especially if you are having adhesion issues) 4. **Up to 15 Floors** - Select/deselect the higher level floors from the Fusion360 if you want more/fewer than the default 9 floors) NOTE: to make #1 and #2 work, you need to add the "ParametricText" add-on to Fusion360 (https://parametrictext.readthedocs.io/en/stable/index.html) See the original for details on how to set the temperatures for printing in your slicer. Enjoy!
