Editable Raspberry Pi 3 case
thingiverse
This case was created from scratch using a base project case by CudaTox.\r\n\r\nI added screw holes but it will remain together without them. To remove the SD card, the box must be taken apart. The design is based on strict measurement values found here: https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing-the-raspberry-pi-model-b-plus-plus-differences-vs-model-b/mounting-holes\r\n\r\nI designed it to be easily modified for custom covers with various hats. Most other case creators only upload .stl files, making it hard to change desired aspects.\r\n\r\nMy code is straightforward and doesn't use True/False statements to blank out panel ports. Simply comment out the line to make changes.\r\n\r\nThis is my second cad creation, and I'll be adding additional lids with features like displays, integrated camera ports, batteries, and prodboards.\r\n\r\nFeel free to use it; just mention me in the code. If you create a new lid for a HAT based on this one, let me know about it.\r\n\r\nAbove all, happy printing.\r\n\r\n20180922 Update: I finished my sensehat change and adjusted the height as well as tweaked the port ends. The sensehat measurements are close but I don't have a joystick to attach for clearance checks. It can be easily adjusted.\r\n\r\n20181021: I added gopro mount points near the edges, which can be enabled or disabled at the bottom of the file using scad.
