<p>The Edimax PoE+ switch is quite possibly one of the most awesome on the market, as with the switchable ‘plus’ feature, it allows PoE power to go up to 200 metres! This is superb for extremely long runs, however the unit has rather average mounting from the factory.&nbsp;</p><p>Instead of using the two ‘picture frame hanger’ style slots for two nails in the wall, this bracket firmly mounts your switch to the wall and allows for easy removal of both the bracket and the switch whenever you want. The PoE switch is a snap or friction fit, however for extra security it is firmly affixed to the bracket via 3x M3x5mm countersunk screws which fit perfectly flush into the 3 threaded holes already in the back of the case!&nbsp;</p><p>Mounts to the wall using 4x 3.5 or 4mm pan-head screws into a gib/plasterboard anchor.&nbsp;</p><p>I opted to print this in PETG for the extra heat resistance, as the PoE device has no active cooling and may get hot with all 4 lanes in use. However this is just a precaution really.&nbsp;</p><p>0.2mm layer height<br>No supports<br>Minimum 3 walls to give extra strength to the screw holes&nbsp;<br>You may need to reorient it so it sits the correct way on the bed.&nbsp;</p>
