This is an edge lit sign for displaying things in a novel way. Good for birthday presents, etc. Note: you will need access to a CNC machine to etch the text into the acrylic plate, and you will also need a soldering iron to solder the circuit together. Voltage regulator, (specifically boost converter) to convert 4.5 V battery voltage to 12 V LED voltage (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089Y7NDCR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) 3. Hook-up wire: silicone, red and black, 22 AWG 4. PETG filament 5. Voltage regulator V_out+ to LED strip +: 45 [mm] 2. Black 2.1. Battery anode (-) to voltage regulator V_in-: 260 [mm] 2.2. Switch to voltage regulator V_in+: 77 [mm] 2.3. Voltage regulator V_out- to LED strip -: 45 [mm] Build steps: 1. Print out the body, plate, and battery holder 2. Insert battery contacts into the battery holder, and build the circuit (see the images in sequence: right click -> show in new tab to expand the image) 3. Etch the acrylic plate with text of your choosing 4. Insert batteries in battery holder, and insert acrylic plate into body slot
