This 3D model was originally crafted using Sketchup 6 and later converted into various 3D formats. Native format is .skp, while the 3dsmax scene was built with 3ds Max 2016, rendered with Vray 3.00. This marked the initial stage of Eddie Van Halen's iconic Frankenstrat guitar. At this point, the guitar hadn't been transformed with a splash of red paint or fitted with a reduced pickguard and installed Floyd Rose tremolo system. The guitar was in its original state when the first Van Halen album was recorded, making it a challenge to maintain pitch stability prior to installing the Floyd Rose. During that era, Eddie used a brass nut that he would lubricate by applying vaseline into the string slots, preventing the strings from getting stuck when using the tremolo system. This minor trick helped keep the guitar in tune more frequently; however, cigarette smoke significantly compromised this process.
