EDC Bit Case / Screwdriver Handle

EDC Bit Case / Screwdriver Handle

This is the best working prototype so far. I might make revisions. This bit case is made to hold 9 (8+1) standard bits and an extension bit. When using a regular 50mm (total length) extension bit, the 9th bit stays in the extension.I have gotten the bit hole tolerances to a perfect snug fit with my (pretty much stock) Ender 3 V2, but I assume this might vary depending on your printer. There are spaces for magnets to be glued into the bottom of the bit holes to keep the bits secure regardless. The ones I have used are Neodym 5 x 1 mm from Amazon, with epoxy. If the extension bit is inserted the other way round it could potentially be used as an emergency screwdriver, although it’s definitely not designed for heavy loads. The lid snaps in place in a very satisfying and secure fit.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:CrealityPrinter: Ender 3Rafts:Doesn't MatterSupports: YesResolution:0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer hightInfill: 30%Filament: noname PLA  Notes: Each part is designed to be printed in a specific orientation to avoid unnecessary support: The lid should have the flat side facing the build plate (obviously), and the base should have the bit holes facing down. I set supports at 50 degrees+ to skip the 45’s and only support the holes.Printed with 3 line walls.   Category: Tool Holders & Boxes
