I acquired a titan extruder with a v6 hotend for my anet A8. I printed a carriage to mount the extruder in direct feed but didn't have any way to mount the layer fan on that carriage. I tried various fan mounts and none of them worked, so I was forced to learn how to design one myself. In the process, I also changed the v6 heat sink's 30mm fan to a 40mm fan because the stock one is very loud. The design includes my own layer fan design. The adapter is mounted on the ring that surrounds the heat sink using the same original screws. It's possible that the screw heads will fit a bit tight. Due to the offset and size of the heat block, you need to mount it and the fan mount in the way shown in the pictures. I might revisit this design and create other types of ducts.
