The human body contains approximately 60 trillion cells, making it one of the most complex systems known to man. These cells are incredibly diverse, each with their own unique function and purpose within the body. The skin, for example, is made up of several layers of epithelial cells that work together to protect the body from external threats. In contrast, muscle cells, or fibers, are responsible for movement and contraction, allowing us to walk, run, and perform a wide range of physical activities.
