Ecooter battery plug cap
thingiverse
Cap the battery plug to prevent dirt from collecting inside. We own an AGM ECO electrical scooter, known as the Ecooter. The harsh winter cold will drastically reduce the battery life, prompting us to disconnect the battery and store it safely indoors. A few close calls with spilled drinks prompted me to take immediate action - I felt compelled to cap off the electrical contacts. Unfortunately, the scooter did not come equipped with a protective cap, so I designed one myself. To ensure it's always accessible when needed, I incorporated two essential features into the design. Firstly, there's a hole outside the safeguarded area where you can attach a cord to keep it securely attached to the battery. Secondly, the total height of the cap perfectly matches the available space under the handle, making it easy to carry the battery. The fit is incredibly snug. When plugging in the electrical connection, it seals off quite well. When tucked under the handle, it won't budge during a drive. The tight fit enhances the grip by incorporating indentations on opposite sides.
