Economy Trigger Lock Spanner Screwdriver Tool
thingiverse
I designed this tool to make it easier for my coworkers and me to install trigger locks on firearms we return to customers at work. These temporary locks are made by Bellock and are very affordable. They're not meant to provide security, but rather serve as a simple way to keep the trigger safe during transport. The lock's "key" is a stamped metal tool with two small pins that fit into corresponding holes in the bolt head connecting the lock's two parts. Installing these locks can be frustrating, especially when you're short on time. I knew there had to be a better solution, so I created this one. To build it, you'll need an M5 x 16 cap screw and an M5 nut. The key fits snugly into part A's slot, while part B is slotted in place with the cap screw and nut holding everything together tightly.
