Economical Drawers

I came across several small parts drawers on Thingiverse, and most of them utilized a substantial amount of filament. I aimed to create an affordable version that not only looked great but also printed efficiently. This is what I achieved: The Economical Shelf weighs in at 150 grams (including supports and raft), while the shelf before applying the voronoi pattern weighed 217 grams without any supports, but with a raft. By implementing this design, I was able to save 67 grams of filament! It's essential to note that this saving is in terms of filament usage, not print time. The voronoi pattern not only adds an aesthetic appeal but also enhances the shelf's rigidity while minimizing the amount of filament required. The numerous holes within the pattern make it easy to mount on walls. The 10 mm thick rims are substantial and robust enough to support the drawers without using excessive filament. Each component was meticulously designed with the goal of reducing the need for supports in mind. Dimensions: 152 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm
