Yes, I could have taken the easy route – slapped on a fresh coat of paint and called it a day. But that would have only provided a fleeting cosmetic fix, not a genuine transformation. Instead, I dove headfirst into the world of computer-aided design, wrestling with Fusion 360 for an entire day to master its intricacies. And then, with newfound confidence, I embarked on an even more daunting task: printing a custom wall covering that would mask the unsightly remnants of past renovations. My creation is specifically tailored for the Ecobee 3 thermostat, but I've left some extra wiggle room in case other models require a slightly different shape. Whether you're a seasoned DIY enthusiast or just starting out, this design should save you countless hours and frustration in the long run!
