Eco3D Filament Spool Hole Reduction for original PRUSA i3 Printer
thingiverse
I started using filaments from a new source, which is http://www.eco3dfilament.com. I wanted to reduce the size of the spools as well, so I remixed my original Prusa filament spool reduction. Reduction_ECO_big_hole.stl is designed for 0.25kg filament spools, while Reduction_ECO_small_hole.stl is designed for 1 kg filament spools. If you're interested, check them out - they make good filaments. While working on it, I added a universal Scad file to make things more convenient. You just need to edit three basic variables and create your own unique size spool reduction. These variables are: the diameter of the spool hole, the width of the rim in the spool hole, and the diameter of the spindle of the spool holder - that's it.
