These detailed models were created from scratch with Sketchup 8 before being easily converted to a variety of other 3D formats. The native file type is .skp, while 3ds Max scenes use version 2016 and are rendered using Vray 3.00 Eco. The "Railway Scammell No 4" was built from the ground up with Sketchup - making it one of the site's only creations, as every other model was developed in house, totaling over 350 detailed pieces, none of which were imports. These incredibly low-poly models are ideal for simulating old rail yards and can also be used to depict other rustic structures, including miniature rail cottages and outbuildings. A collection of around one hundred models inspired by MSTS will soon follow this addition.
