This is an eco-friendly, low-footprint spool buffer for rigid filaments like PLA, PETG, ABS, etc. Using just 10 meters of filament and cardboard from the filament shipping box, easily integrate with your Prusa MMU2 / MMU2S and spool holder, dry box, or hanger rod. See how easy it is to assemble: For best results, run filament through Teflon PTFE tubing between the buffer and 3D printer, and save countless hours of filament retraction headaches! Trace the spool onto the filament box to cut two matching circles for either side of the spool. Punch out 8 holes around the perimeter of both circles to fit the bridge pieces. Make sure the arrows on the sides of the bridge pieces point in the direction of the filament, place the cut circles on either side of the filament spool, and fit the bridge pieces onto the punched holes. Teflon PTFE Tube & Fittings To avoid any filament slack between the F18 Spool Buffer and your 3D printer, you may need to feed the filament through Teflon PTFE tubing.
