Eclipson Model V - Extended Wing Modification
The center wing is stretched and instructions are provided for modification. Model V is the best flying model I've printed so far. It's a low-drag flyer with good glide, easy to hand throw, and stall characteristics are moderate. I extended the wing by 27% to make it a thermal glider, increasing the span from 1.37m to 1.64m. It flies better and slower with a good glide ratio and can circle tightly. The original fuselage is flyable but pitch becomes sensitive to power changes, so I printed another fuse with an extended tail of about 22mm. It won't penetrate wind like expensive molded wing gliders, but it's far better than foam ones. I loaded ArduPlane to extend its reach and it soared up over 400m this weekend.
Instruction to Print

Center Wing Use the included STL file instead of 'WingC_wo_landing_G.stl' in the kit.

Wing1L and Wing1R Load them into Cura, stretch Z-axis only by 50% using the Scale tool, and print.

Fuselage Mod Optional. The original fuselage is flyable with this extended wing but pitch becomes sensitive to power changes. Stretch Z-axis of 'Fus3' by about 15% or so to extend a bit.

It's recommended to insert a longer 4mm carbon pipe or tube to span Wing1L to Wing1R. The modified 'wc1_nc_160%.stl' file is included, edited using MeshMixer. It's cut into three pieces with mount holes left in, stretched outer and merged again. I used regular PLA to print. Eclipson supported me in posting the mod here. Enjoy!
