Modified the Front Rod holders to add a cutout so that it will be easier to align the Y axis Rods. The current design forces the rods together with inward pressure, making them closer at the front of the machine. This inward pressure captures the front rods in place and prevents shimming outward if necessary. The modified holders feature a cutout allowing for easy adjustment as needed. Simply use thin strips of paper (approximately 8mm wide) as shims. I also increased the rod cutout size to 10.1 mm, providing extra room for better alignment. If you print only the front holders, add at least one shim of paper on each side (paper is approximately 0.1 mm thick). To ensure rods are parallel, measure them using calipers. Place the caliper's head against one rod and extend it until the depth measurement pin touches the other rod (refer to the last two images). While the exact reading isn't crucial, achieving consistent measurements at both ends of the rods is vital. Use strips of paper as shims until you get identical readings on each end. Use existing Rod clamps without modification. The only change to the rear holders is an enlarged rod hole matching the front design. If you use them, you may not need any shims.
