This is my DIY coil jig designed for a 3mm diameter coil. Numerous commercial alternatives feature similar designs but at an exorbitant cost of $20 for such a straightforward concept! I crafted this using tinkercad, allowing it to be easily replicated or customized to accommodate various pin sizes. Hopefully, you find it satisfactory! Print Settings Printer: DangerDong Rafts: None Required Supports: Not Necessary Resolution: 0.3 mm Precision Infill Density: 20% Optimal Balance Notes: Utilizing slic3r for gcode conversion. I produced the coil jig using 1.75mm PLA, a reliable material choice. A 70C heated glass bed ensured proper adhesion and print quality. The extrusion temperature was set at 210C for optimal output. Additionally, I applied a +5C temperature boost to the initial layer for enhanced print stability. To prevent oozing, dislodgement, or damage during the printing process, I raised the z-axis by 0.35mm for each layer travel.
