The original adapter cover was too big for my printer, which caused me to take matters into my own hands. I decided to modify the power adapter's cover by cutting off the top portion and shortening its middle section. This modification allows both first-generation and second-generation Echo Dots to fit snugly on my printer. Although the first-gen device will protrude slightly, it remains securely in place. The modified adapter measures 89 x 135 x 38 mm.
