To support the echo dot against the wall without getting in its way at all.<br/> The tiny teeth securing the echo dot will not get in the way of the 7 mic array. The open back allows the downward firing speaker to resonate sound through the wall instead of the table surface.<br/> The cable opening allows the echo to be oriented either left or right and perfectly frames the Amazon logo.</p> <p><strong>Final Design</strong></p>
