Echo Dot Wall Plate
thingiverse
I found myself in a fortunate situation where an unused RJ-11 jack sat beside an outlet with a SnapPower cover on it. I wanted my Echo to stop cluttering up my counter-top space. By tucking the excess cord inside the electrical box, I managed to keep most of the cable hidden from view. Printer Settings Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Rafts Supports: Supports Are Unnecessary Resolution: 0.2mm Resolution Infill: 20% Infill Rate Notes: I successfully bridged far enough with PLA filament. I attempted to use ABS, but the bridging didn't work out as planned. I attribute this to my limited experience working with ABS. Post-Printing Process I used superglue to attach the two pieces together. Designing This Project I took a blank wall plate from TheNewHobbyist and subtracted a cutout of a design by IMakeThisLookGood. I also removed two 4mm holes in the bottom of the plate, allowing it to mount flush against the wall while still giving cords somewhere to go.
