Echo Dot Wall Mount
thingiverse
I 3D printed this out of ABS and yes, it shrunk, so I scaled each part by 1.50mm in all directions. It's not perfect because the cables coming out of the dot are close together and end up buried in the plasterboard. To fit it, I had to relieve the back side of the plasterboard. I used a 92mm hole saw to make the hole. Don't bother with the hole fixings - I ended up bonding it in place, not just the bracket but also the dot itself. My advice is to test a fit on a piece of 12mm or 12.7mm plasterboard before committing yourself to a large hole in your wall. I also spray painted the outer ring so it was bright white. You may need to do some filling with decorators caulk because this one has straight sides, but it's very minimal.
