Although several parts are listed, only 5 pieces print with this design. Multiple "extra" parts allow you to use different sprinkler pipes on hand, eliminating the need for purchases. The pipe itself is not included as it's a cheap and easy component to buy and cut to length. This model is simple and easy to print and assemble, requiring no supports for any of the pieces. Have fun! Parts list: G2_2_G3_Adapter.stl - Adapter ring for using a Gen2 Dot in this design. G3_microphone_back_half_v2.stl - The rear section of the microphone shell. G3_microphone_Dome_75.stl - Base for the microphone stand with built-in 3/4" sprinkler pipe adapter. G3_microphone_Dome_50.stl - Base for the microphone stand with built-in 1/2" sprinkler pipe adapter. Only one of these needs printing, depending on the size pipe used. G3_microphone_front_half_v2.stl - The front section of the microphone shell. G3_microphone_joiner_v2.stl - Shell joiner piece to glue to the rear shell and press the front shell onto. G3_Pipe_Top_Swivel.stl - Top piece with swivel section, attaching to the outer rear shell with nut and bolt. Pipe_Adapter_A_.stl - Allows use of various pipes; may need scaling for fit. Pipe_Adapter_straight_I_D_.stl - Fits I.D. of 3/4" sprinkler pipe to adapt the swivel. Ring.stl Insert ring to allow 3/4 pipe to fit over 1/2 pipe or fittings. After test-fitting all intended parts, begin painting and finishing these components. The Dot USB cord needs to be routed up through the rear microphone shell after the joiner is in place and glued. Then plug the cord into the Dot and place it inside the rear shell. Press the front shell onto the rear shell, sandwiching the joiner between. Do not glue the front shell to the joiner. The front shell will fit over the joiner, requiring extra pressure at the corners if necessary. From there, it's a simple matter to join the swivel part using a bolt and nut of choice that fits, then place this assembly atop the chosen pipe. Glue this to the base selected and put this display on wherever you like.
