Echo Dot Gen3 (G2) 1930's Microphone
thingiverse
This vintage radio microphone design is tailored specifically for the Gen3 version of the Alexa Echo Dot, with an included adapter ring allowing older Gen2 devices to seamlessly integrate. Constructed from a mere six components, all precision-crafted to press-fit together with ease. Printing this model is a breeze, and it boasts a stylish finish to boot. UPDATE! Following user feedback, I've revised the base file to address the issue of the USB cord's clearance during assembly. Additionally, I've taken note that two adapter rings are required to "sandwich" the G2 Dot in place for secure attachment – this setup effectively blocks the speaker of the older model. To rectify this, I've created a modified adapter ring featuring strategically placed openings to accommodate the speaker.
