Echo Dot 4 ceiling/overhead mount

<p>I wanted to hang one of my Echo Dots on the underside of a wall cupboard, so I needed a mount. Maybe someone else has a use for this, too.</p><p>You need 4 M3x10 screws for the ring and whatever screws you might want to use to screw the mount onto the ceiling/whatever else (max dia. 4mm).</p><p>I also added a "cable base": this optional part can be placed between the ceiling and the mount to hide some of the cable (be aware that this part is just quickly thrown together to a<i>"well, it works"</i> state</p><h3>Print Settings</h3><p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p><p>No</p><p><strong>Supports: </strong></p><p>No</p><p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p><p>200</p><p><strong>Infill: </strong></p><p>15-20</p><p><strong>Filament:</strong></p><p>PETG</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>Print with 3 perimeters and 15-20% infill.</p><p>The overhang on the mount is a bit steep, but possbile to print without supports.</p><p> </p><h3>Post-Printing</h3><p><strong>mounting</strong></p><ul><li>screw on the mount</li><li>put the Echo Dot in the mount (hold it until it is secured by the ring)</li><li>screw on the ring (<strong>be aware of the direction:</strong> the inner diameter is different on top and bottom of the ring!)</li></ul>
